   International workshops in HypnoBirthing®, HypnoBirthing ®Fertility, Accelerated Hypnotherapy are all Professional Certifications offered by The Alternative Centre School of Hypnosis.  These professional qualifications are certified by  the HypnoBirthing® Institute and The American Board of Hypnosis and are recognised in over 32 countries.

Modern Hypnosis has been a recognised medical adjunct in childbirth since the 1950's in the USA . More currently in the UK and other parts of the world where there is  recognition of its versatility  in other fields of healthcare, such as diabetes (including gestational diabetes, ) pregnancy related problems such as pre-eclampsia and  high blood pressure. and a wider range of healthcare issues such as  obesity, weight management, stress, phobias, habit modification and the list goes on. Hypnosis is a natural and yet versatile modality that blends easily  into everyday healthcare practices.   I hold qualifications as a Master Practitioner Hypnotist in Medical Hypnosis, a two year programme that covered 22 major illnesses together with specialist training in preparation for surgery, childbirth and situational trauma. The three day, Accelerated Hypnotherapy Certification opens the pathway to broaden your scope in hypnosis.

HypnoBirthing® has become a household name over the past 20 years.  Couples learn about the concept of HypnoBirthing® from their friends, social media,  their healthcare provider or even a search engine.   Women are more informed today than ever in the history of mankind, yet their understanding of the normalcy and naturalness of birth has been blurred into a conformity of modern healthcare practises which are littered with a consciousness to avoid litigation and therefore offer the safety measures,which often rob the woman of the joy of  a natural birth.  HypnoBirthing® Practitioners worldwide, give the couples the sound education  and  confidence, through discussion, watching natural births stories, reading and practising the 4 Basic techniques that is the keystone of the programme that leads to a successful and often pain free birth experience.  

The  HypnoBirthing® course  is open to all interested parties who are English speaking, able to read , write and present confidently in English.  There are courses available in French & Spanish in the USA or Europe.

What is HypnoBirthing®?  A comprehensive childbirth education programme that works primarily with the use of hypnosis to enhance the natural  states of birth without peril or pain.

Who is it for?  Everyone.

What does the HypnoBirthing®course entail?

There are two Pre-Requisites.  These are qualifications that you already have in order to take the  HypnoBirthing® Practitioner Course. 

The two Pre-Requisites are:

1)  Certificate in Hypnotherapy  . 

 2) Certificate as a Midwife/Doula/ CNM/OB/Childbirth Educator.

The HypnoBirthing® Institue offers a short 11/2day programme called Intro to Hypnosis which is a programme tailored directly to the HypnoBirthing® Child Birth Education Certificate.  This short course is not a recognised certificate  but is part of the overall HypnoBirthing® required qualification and is  required by everyone who does not hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. 

Pre-Requisite for Birthing, is a programme called Birthing Basics that covers the fundamentals from conception to birth. This is designed as an educational resource for non-medical delegates so that they have a better understanding of the human physiology.  This programme is tailored directly to the HypnoBirthing® Child Birth Education Certificate.  The course is 11/2 days or can be taken as a Home Study .  This is the only part of the programme that can be taken as a Home Study and includes 4 DVD's , One Work Book and a Resource Book .

HypnoBirthing® Practitioner Certification is a 21/4 programme that includes all materials, plus  one year's subscription to the HypnoBirthing Institute upon successful completion of your reviews.

Taking the course does not automatically certify you.  There is a review of the course work material that must be completed within a specified period of time.  The delegate is to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the programme in order to receive their Certificate. Once certified you will be added to the International data base of HypnoBirthing® Practitioners worldwide and will receive an invitation to be part of the forum , have access to the online resource centre and receive regular updates and communication from the HypnoBirthing® Institute.

 

 Modern Hypnosis ,three day "Accelerated Hypnotherapy Certification"  is certified through  The American Board of Hypnotherapy for which The Alternative Centre School of Hypnosis facilitates .This certificate will open the pathway to taking HypnoBirthing®Practitioner  and HypnoBirthing®  Fertility Consultant .  The cost of the course includes your membership for the first year.

The above certificates are recognised worldwide . They are also an accepted qualification to the Australian Hypnotherapy Association (Student membership for your first year).
