FAQ FOR HYPNOBIRTHING PRACTITIONER TRAINING 

Which one is for me?

Midwife/Doula/Childbirth Educator:  Hypnosis & HB Pract

Hypnotherapist/NLP Master Practitioner: Birthing Basics & HB Pract.

All others: Birthing Basics , Hypnosis and HB Practitioner.

*If you require all units, you can apply to do the Birthing basics as a home study programme. The cost of the home study programme is  $285 . This must be completed prior to the start of the Hypnosis &  HB Practitioner programme, but the review to be held until the other two components are covered.

What does the cost cover?

All materials are supplied at the course.  The course reviews and subscriptions for the first year, Membership of the “Nest”,  addition of your details on the Institute’s website and referral database upon successful completion of the certification.

Support from HypnoBirthing Institute Members and Faculty Member of your country.

Can I spread the cost of the HypnoBirthing Training?

Yes, if you require all 3 units, you can spread the cost over three months but final payment must be made prior to the start of the programme.

How can payment be made?

Direct bank deposit is the most cost efficient method.

Credit card / and foreign currency payments carry a 2.5% surcharge.

All payments are in Australian Currency.

Is there an exam?

There are reviews for each segment.  All reviews are to be sent together  to the HypnoBirthing Institute in the USA and are marked by Marie Mongan. Turn  around time is 4-6 weeks from the time the Institute receives your papers.  Your accreditation will be HBCE.

Can I teach after the course? You can only teach once you have your accreditation.

What about supervision and re-accreditation? 

The HypnoBirthing Institute has in place a programme for re-accreditation that takes place on the anniversary of your certification and you will be contacted by the Institute.  A programme for regional supervision is being set up and current members of 3 years standing may apply for this position.

Is this qualification recognised? 

Yes, this qualification is recognised by the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Australian Hypnotherapy Association.  Accreditation for continuing professional education in Nursing, Midwifery, Hypnotherapy and NLP.
